Isabel Franco currently serves as Deputy Manager at Caravela Coffee, focusing on specialty coffee sourcing operations in Colombia and Ecuador since January 2023. Previously, Isabel held various positions including Future Leader Trainee at GEA Group and LPT Sales Engineer at Alpina, where responsibilities included managing teams and implementing Continuous Improvement Projects. Isabel's earlier experiences include roles such as Site Engineer and Project Engineer at Bayer CropScience Colombia, along with positions in systems management and consulting. Isabel completed a degree in Electronics Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes and holds a bachillerato with an emphasis on sciences from Colegio Provinma. Additionally, Isabel served as President of the IEEE Student Branch from November 2006 to August 2008, advocating for women in technical studies and promoting specialized workshops.
