Jack Jonghyo Lee serves as the Head of the Connectivity Standards Lab at Samsung Electronics since June 2022 and holds the position of Principal Engineer at Samsung Research, focusing on Connectivity & IoT Standardisation and Advanced R&D. Lee is also a member of the Board of Directors for both the FiRa Consortium and the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC). Previously, Lee excelled as Principal Engineer at Samsung Electronics UK, leading advanced research, and held significant roles such as Technical WG Chair and Board Member at CCC. With a robust background in standards development since 2003 at Samsung Electronics, Lee has contributed to the field of Phone-Car connectivity and has been actively involved with organizations like the NFC Forum and Wi-Fi Alliance. Academic credentials include an MS in Computer Networks and a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from Chung-Ang University.
