Maria Lopez has worked in the hospitality industry since 2006. Maria began their career as an Administrative Assistant and Meeting Concierge at Hyatt Regency before becoming a Catering Sales Manager there. In 2013, Maria moved to The James Royal Palm as a Catering Manager. Maria then took on the role of Conference Services Manager at both The Royal Palm Miami South Beach, A Tribute Portfolio and Thompson Hotels - Commune Hotels + Resorts in 2015. Maria was then hired as an Event Planning Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2016 before becoming a Partnership Director and Event Specialist at Capture POD in 2019.

Maria Lopez graduated from Florida International University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism.
