Jeremy Freifeld began their work experience as a Law Clerk at Taibi Kornbluth Law Group P.A. in June 2011, where they worked until April 2012. In May 2012, they worked as a Summer Associate at Nelson Mullins before joining the North Carolina Court of Appeals as a Summer Clerk for the Honorable Martha Geer from June to August 2012. In January 2013, they served as a Legal Extern at BCBSNC until April 2013. From September 2013 to August 2014, they worked as a Transactional Law Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Office of University Counsel. Jeremy then joined Hutchison PLLC as a Corporate Attorney in September 2014 and worked there until April 2022. Currently, Jeremy is working at CAPTRUST as a Corporate Counsel, a position they started in April 2022.

Jeremy Freifeld attended Cary Academy from 1998 to 2002 for their high school education. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it from 2002 to 2006. Later, they attended the University of North Carolina School of Law from 2010 to 2013, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree.
