Andrea Alvarez has held a variety of roles in the marketing and administrative fields. In 2021, they began their current role as Marketing Program Manager at CaptivateIQ. Prior to this, they worked at Airship from 2018 to 2021, where they held the roles of Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Intern. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at UCSB Accounting, where their responsibilities included auditing and processing paperwork, filing payroll documents, making photocopies, and assisting with other office tasks.

Andrea Alvarez has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English Literature from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained between 2016 and 2020. Andrea also completed a UCEAP (Study Abroad) at King's College London between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Adobe Marketo as an Adobe Certified Expert - Marketo Engage Business Practicioner in September 2021, from Drift as a Playbook Basics Certified in April 2020, and from UC Santa Barbara as a Technology Management Program.
