Corey Engel has accumulated a diverse range of work experience throughout the years. Corey is currently the CEO and Founder of Captal Platform, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to that, Corey worked as the CTO of meme therappy, a meme-based app aimed at improving mental health, from October 2022 to March 2023.

From November 2016 to November 2021, Corey served as the CTO and Founder (Acquired) of Ivory Hill, where they worked with 126 companies across 83 industries, developing SAAS applications, mobile apps, and full-scale platforms.

Corey has also worked as a Product Advisor at X-Ray | Mortgage Software in early 2020, assisting startups and Fortune 500 companies in scaling and deploying software products. Corey has experience as an Investor at AngelList from May 2018 to February 2019.

In their earlier career, Corey worked as an Education Design PM at Badger Daylighting Inc, where they developed an employee engagement and feedback mobile app for safety and compliance training. Corey also served as a Technical Lead at Sally Beauty, leading react native development and handling deep learning and machine learning startup acquisition development and advisory.

Corey's experience also includes serving as a Software Design Engineer at Peterbilt Motors Company and working as a Web Engineer and Operations Strategist at Elyon Strategies, specializing in web design, product development, and marketing materials. Corey started their career as a Tech Strategist at Zachman International, focusing on UI design and marketing strategy.

Corey Engel completed a diploma at Del Oro High School Class of 2010 from 2009 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a degree in Business Administration (BBA) at Jessup University from 2010 to 2012, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In March 2013, Corey obtained a certification as a PEAF Practitioner from Pragmatic EA.
