Christopher Guzek began their work experience as a Planning Intern for the City of Anoka, MN in 2006. Christopher then served as a Data Analyst for SUPERVALU in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Community Development Intern for the City of Shakopee, MN, and an Economic Development Intern for the City of Brookfield, WI. Guzek later joined Washington County, WI as a Planning Intern in 2009. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at Grubhub, holding various roles including Data Information Coordinator, Data Operations Manager, and Senior Manager of Operations. Most recently, Guzek has been working as the Director of Research for Captain since 2021.

Christopher Guzek obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Christopher then pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning a Master's degree in Urban Planning from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher obtained a certification in "Working with Difficult People" from LinkedIn in March 2020.
