Darrin Ward is an accomplished fire service professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles, including Fire Captain at Capstone Fire & Safety Management since September 2019 and prior positions at Valley Center Fire Protection District and Capstone Fire Management Inc. Darrin also co-owns C&D Premier Pickleball Nets, working alongside Cammy MacGregor-Ward to create a high-quality rollable pickleball net. With a career spanning over three decades in the Encinitas Fire Department, Darrin has held senior positions from Captain to Deputy Chief. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and multiple fire science certifications, underpinning a robust commitment to both fire safety and community service.
