Chukwuka Nwagbara has a diverse work experience in both technology and energy sectors. Chukwuka co-founded Capsa Technology Inc in 2019 through the Techstars program.
Before that, they worked at GE Power from 2013 to the present. In their current role as Senior Commercial Manager, they are responsible for developing pricing strategies and conducting financial analysis for customer deals. Chukwuka also leads contract renegotiations and manages terms and conditions with the commercial and legal teams. Prior to this role, they served as the Commercial Manager for the AIM Region, where they supported and developed Multi-Year Agreements (MYA) Renegotiation deals. Chukwuka also worked as a Commercial Analyst and Analyst, Energy Project Development, where they were involved in proposal development, project advocacy, and business intelligence.
Additionally, Chukwuka Nwagbara gained experience as an AMIP Associate (MBA Intern) at The Tony Elumelu Foundation in 2012.
Chukwuka Nwagbara's education history begins with completing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt from 2004 to 2009. Following this, Chukwuka pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at the Lagos Business School, Pan African University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on Finance, Operations, Strategy, and General Management.
In addition to their formal education, Chukwuka has obtained certifications in various areas. In April 2019, they completed a certification in "PPPs and Project Finance" from the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. Prior to this, in March 2016, they obtained a certification in "Outcome Selling" from GE Crotonville. Furthermore, in October 2015, Chukwuka acquired a certification in "Utility Economics & Financial Modelling" from GE Crotonville. These additional certifications showcase their commitment to continuous personal and professional development beyond their formal education.
