Christina Bolton has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christina started their career in 1979 as the Legislative Director and Chief of Staff for a Senator, where they managed staff and advised on political and policy matters. From 1989 to 1993, they worked at the International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, as the Deputy Assistant Secretary, where they directed various programs and served as a trade policy advisor. In 1993, they became the President of Capitol Strategies, where they represented multinational clients and non-profit business associations, providing government relations and communications strategies. In 2007, they joined the American Petroleum Institute as the Senior International Trade Administration, working on industry positions and representing API on international trade issues.
Christina Bolton's education history includes obtaining a J.D. degree in International and Constitutional Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Christina attended Georgetown University from 1984 to 1987. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and Government, although the specific years of their attendance at Smith College are unknown.
