Joann O'Connell has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1997 when they were an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank. Joann then moved to Jefferies & Company as a Senior Vice President in 1999. In 2003, they became a Principal at Paladin Capital Group. Joann then moved to ATS Corporation in 2007, where they served as Vice President, Strategic Development and Investor Relations. In 2013, they became SVP Strategy and Operations at Endgame. In 2019, they were Operations at Elastic, and in 2020, they were Corporate Development at Pondurance. Currently, they are an Operating Executive at Capitol Meridian Partners.

Joann O'Connell received their MBA from The Wharton School and their BS in Business from the University of South Carolina.
