Michelle Mathy is a seasoned professional in public policy and government affairs, currently serving as Principal at Capitol Counsel, LLC since April 2023. Prior experience includes leading federal affairs at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) from July 2021 to March 2023, and directing public policy and government affairs at Biogen between October 2019 and June 2021, where Michelle influenced key legislative proposals across various therapeutic areas. Previous roles also include Associate Director of Congressional and Political Affairs at the American Academy of Dermatology, and significant positions at the American Society of Anesthesiologists® and the American Hospital Association. Michelle holds dual degrees in Speech Communication and Political Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
