Thijs Otto van Es serves as the CEO and Director of Finance & Operations at FC Utrecht since November 2018, overseeing the club known for its historical achievements in Dutch football. Additionally, Thijs is a Board Member of the Economic Board Utrecht, contributing to the region's development as a health metropolis, and a Member of the Investment Committee at CapitalT, where investments focus on innovative software technology companies. In various roles, Thijs has held advisory and leadership positions, including Member of the Supervisory Board at Eredivisie and Member of the Committee for Utrecht's 900th anniversary. Previous experience includes ownership at House of Performance, chairmanship at SV Kampong, and long-term involvement with the Foundation International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht. Thijs holds a Master's in Business Administration and participated in HBS Executive Education for Leading Professional Service Firms.
