Eric McVeigh, P.Eng has a diverse work experience timeline. Eric is currently working as a Senior Automation and Controls Engineer at Capital Power since May 2021. Previously, they served as an Automation Team Lead at JMP Solutions from June 2019 to April 2021. Prior to that, Eric worked as a Control Systems Engineer at Hi-Def Controls Ltd. from August 2014 to June 2019. Eric also gained valuable experience as an Adaptive Optics Laboratory Technologist at National Research Council Canada from September 2013 to December 2013, and as a Co-op Student in Astronomical Instrumentation from January 2012 to August 2013. Eric's earlier career included a role as an Auroral Research Assistant (Co-op Work Experience) at the Institute for Space Imaging Science at the University of Calgary from May 2011 to August 2011.

Eric McVeigh, P.Eng completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria in 2011-2013. Prior to that, from 2007-2009, they attended Camosun College and obtained a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology.
