Moe Rifai has a strong background as a Network Analyst and Network Operations Analyst. Moe started their career at RUNNET Internet Service Provider in 2008, where they administered a network of over 15,000+ concurrent online users and managed, monitored, and configured Core-Routers. In 2013, they joined Landmark Group of Companies Inc., where they were responsible for network design and IP address allocation. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at All Weather Windows as a Network Operations Analyst, focusing on hardware upgrades, network topology upgrades, and preparing for VOIP. In 2017, they transitioned to the Government of Alberta Court Services as a Network Analyst and held the role for two years. In 2020, they joined Sterling Crane as a Network Analyst, and in 2022, they moved to their current position at Capital Power.
Moe Rifai completed their education at Damascus University, where they obtained a degree in Applied Economics (OLC) from the years 2006 to 2010. Moe has also obtained several certifications including Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) and Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) from Cisco in February 2020. In addition, they have achieved Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) in February 2019. Moe has also completed a training course on OTDR AND Fibre fusion splicing from EXFO in October 2014. Lastly, they underwent LIR Training Course from RIPE NCC in May 2010.
