Brittney Morgan has had a diverse work experience, starting in 2017. Brittney began as an Environmental Compliance Summer Student at Parkland County in May 2017 and held the position until October of the same year. In October 2017, they transitioned to the role of Junior Environmental Scientist at Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd, where they worked until December 2018. In January 2019, they joined Capital Power as a Regulatory and Environmental Policy Associate and held the position until June 2021. From June 2021 to September 2022, they served as the Commercial Manager for Canada West at Capital Power. Currently, since September 2022, they hold the position of Carbon Capture Manager at Capital Power.
Brittney Morgan graduated from the University of Calgary in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science, General. In 2017, they obtained the Geologist-In-Training certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Brittney also has additional certifications, including Ground Disturbance Level 2, H2S Alive, and Standard First Aid Level C - CPR/AED, from Global Training Centre, Enform, and St John Ambulance respectively.
