Shelly Henderson has extensive experience in workforce development, currently serving as a Performance Management & Contract Specialist at Capital Workforce Partners since 2006. In this role, Shelly assists the North Central Connecticut workforce investment board with procurement, contracting, and program management, while also providing technical support to agencies and vendors. Previous experience includes the position of Program Specialist, where Shelly managed service providers for Jobs First Employment Services initiatives. From 2003 to 2006, Shelly worked at the Capitol Region Education Council as a Client Services Coordinator and Youth Safety Trainer, overseeing Workforce Investment Act programs and liaising with community programs and funding agencies. Shelly holds a B.A. in English from Tufts University.
