Daniel Ansell is a software engineer at Capital On Tap since January 2022, previously holding positions as a software developer at Derivco Sports and as a junior software developer at Geeks Ltd. Daniel commenced a career in academia as a mathematics tutor for first-year physics undergraduates at the University of Manchester, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Additionally, Daniel served as a STEMNET Ambassador, engaging in public outreach at events such as the Manchester and Cheltenham Science Festivals, and contributed to the organisation of the Joint Nanoscience CDT conference in 2011. Daniel earned a PhD in Nanoscience and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Manchester, complemented by a foundational education at Freman College.
