Alexandre SPIESER is an experienced engineering leader, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Capital on Tap since September 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing the Engineering Group for software development in various domains such as Acquisition, Credit, and Fraud Compliance. Previous roles at Capital on Tap include Engineering Manager, Team Lead, and Software Architect, with a focus on microservices architecture and scalable systems. Earlier experience includes co-founding CADBEAM as CTO, developing applications on Azure, and serving as a PhD student and part-time lecturer at Brunel University, where research focused on electrochemical micromachining for the aerospace and automotive sectors. Alexandre holds a PhD in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and has diverse experience across technology, academia, and project leadership.
