Jose Lemus has over 27 years of experience in software architecture and engineering, currently serving as Vice President of Architecture & Strategy at Capital Group since September 1996. In this role, Jose leads the definition of architecture standards, software development strategies, and design practices for both on-prem and cloud solutions. Earlier positions at Capital Group include Vice President, Senior Technology Engineering Manager focusing on platform solutions, and Senior Systems Manager overseeing security and development engineering functions. Jose's career also includes roles such as Middleware Manager and Applications Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing middleware technology and leading software engineering teams. Prior to Capital Group, Jose worked as a Technology Trainer at the Los Angeles Urban League. Jose earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles, between 1991 and 1996.
