James Brendon C. Russell possesses a diverse background in technical and construction roles. Since February 2023, Russell has served as a Substation Foreman at Capital Electric Construction Co., Inc. Previously, from July 2003 to September 2016, Russell worked as a Broadband Distribution Technician at Suddenlink Communications, focusing on servicing and troubleshooting CATV distribution systems. Russell's earlier experiences include being a member and tower climber for the Fort Scott Ham Radio Club from 2006 to 2015 and working as a tuckpointer, caulker, and waterproofer at Mid-Continental Restoration Company, Inc. from May 2002 to July 2003. In terms of education, Russell earned certification in Wind Technology from Pinnacle Career Institute, studied Fire Science/Fire-fighting earning Fire Fighter I and II qualifications from The University of Kansas, and holds an Associate's degree from Fort Scott Community College.
