Melanie Schmidt, SHRM-CP, serves as the Director of Human Resources at Capital Credit Union since October 2021, bringing extensive expertise in Human Resources. Prior to this role, Melanie was a Senior Human Resource Specialist at Capital Credit Union and worked at CHI St. Alexius Health from October 2014 to September 2021 as a Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Management Specialist. In these positions, Melanie partnered with leaders to provide comprehensive support in employee relations, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, policy and procedures, performance management, and payroll. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Dickinson State University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
