Melissa deGeneres has over 38 years of leadership experience; throughout her career, she has served as the owner and operator of two businesses within the Capital Region.

deGeneres is the current owner of Gulf Coast Gravel & Crawford Aggregate Industries and previously owned a sand and gravel operation.

deGeneres is a retired Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies. She is an active volunteer in with nearly forty years of service to over 17 community organizations.
