Dr. Lashauna Shelton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and organizational development, currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Capital Area Transit System since April 2019. Lashauna is dedicated to assisting individuals in their personal and professional growth while managing critical staffing responsibilities, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and participating in community recruitment activities. As the Owner of L Shelton Consulting, LLC, Lashauna provides a range of virtual office assistance and services to real estate partners since March 2017. Additionally, Lashauna has held leadership roles in nonprofit work as Executive Director of Passion to Purpose and has a solid background in social services and procurement from previous positions at the Louisiana Department of Education and the City of Baton Rouge.
