Sarah Smith has a solid work experience history. Sarah started their career as a Sales Manager at Cortex Distribution for L'Oreal Professionnel & Pureology in May 2007. Sarah then worked as a Business Development Manager at Palace Resorts, Le Blanc Spa Resort & Hard Rock All Inclusive Hotels from July 2011 to April 2013. Sarah joined AIC Hotel Group in July 2011 as a Business Development Manager for Central Canada (ON, MB, SK) and held this role until July 2017. Since July 2018, they have been serving as the Regional Director of Business Development - Canada at AIC Hotel Group.

Sarah Smith studied at George Brown College from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a Certificate in Art and Design Fundamentals. Sarah continued their education at the same institution from 2006 to 2009 and earned an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design - Corporate Communications major. In 2013, they obtained a certification as a Travel Counsellor from TICO - Travel Industry Council of Ontario.
