Robért Glein has a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on FPGA technology. Robért is currently the Director of Electrical Engineering (FPGA) at Capella Space since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior FPGA Engineer at Capella Space from March 2022 to April 2023. In 2021, they were a Senior FPGA Designer - GNSS at Trimble Inc. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Research Associate - FPGA Engineer at the University of Colorado Boulder, working on projects for CMS/LHC at CERN. In 2017, they were a Systems Engineer at Fraunhofer IIS. Robért gained further experience as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2012 to 2017, focusing on FPGAs in the Space Environment. Robért started their career as a Systems Engineer - FPGA Expert at Fraunhofer IIS from 2008 to 2012.
Robért Glein began their education in 2003 at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, where they pursued a degree in Elektronische Systeme. Robért completed this program in 2008 and earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
In 2008, Glein furthered their education at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering in 2009.
Glein then pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2012 to 2017, culminating in the completion of their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
Overall, Glein's education journey involved a progression from a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Elektronische Systeme to a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and finally to a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
