Crystal Carter, MHR, currently serves as the Director of Organizational Culture at CAP Tulsa, focusing on developing DEI initiatives and fostering community partnerships. Previous roles include Assistant Researcher at Oklahoma State University, where Crystal created course content for a Diversity & Education class, and Director of Instructional Support at New Classrooms, where contributions included authoring a DEI Circle organizational charter. Experience as Program Director at Reading Partners involved managing staff and achieving high satisfaction ratings from partnerships. Earlier positions include Teacher Development Specialist at Houston ISD, Novice Teacher Mentor at Tulsa Public Schools, and various teaching roles. Crystal is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Foundations of Education at Oklahoma State University, having previously earned a Master of Human Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
