Michelle Mills is an experienced professional with a diverse background in catering sales, scientific writing, and operational management. Currently serving as the Catering Sales & Operations Manager at Canyon Market, Michelle has successfully updated pricing, re-engaged clients, and developed a new catering website since October 2022. As the Principal of Curious Perspective, Michelle specializes in scientific writing and literature research. Prior roles include Sales and Operations Associate at Bi-Rite Family of Businesses, Area Director and other leadership roles at Toastmasters International, and consulting on a wilderness therapy study for childhood cancer survivors at Mid Sweden University. Michelle's research experience extends to UCSF, with work focused on non-pharmacological interventions for pediatric cancer patients. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Biology from Haverford College, alongside ongoing education at City College of San Francisco.
