James Blight is an experienced engineering leader with a diverse background in software development and management. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Canva since November 2022, James previously held the position of Engineering Manager at WORK180, where responsibilities included guiding the engineering team through significant growth and aligning technology with business strategies. James has also contributed to various roles including Senior Software Engineer at HappyCo, Front End Developer at Property Trail, and lead Front End Developer at Coritsu Group, where work focused on innovative web applications. Early career experiences included roles at Holden and Sydac, which provided foundational knowledge in vehicle manufacturing and training simulator development. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of New England (AU).
