Paolo Paganetti is an accomplished researcher and leader in the field of biology, particularly within translational research and aging disorders. Currently, Paolo serves as the Coordinator of Laboratories for Translational Research and leads the PI Laboratory for Aging Disorders at Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) since September 2013. Additionally, Paolo is a member of the Board of Directors at Tivenix SA since January 2021. Previous roles include Head SME Biology and Director of Biology for Small Molecules at AC Immune (May 2010 - August 2013) and Director at Novartis (September 1992 - May 2010). Earlier in the career, Paolo held the position of Lab-Head at Sandoz Pharma AG (1992 - 1997), and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University and the University of Zurich. Educational background includes a PhD in Cell Biology and Neurobiology, as well as a Dipl Nat Wiss in Biochemistry, both from ETH Zürich.
