Giorgio Treglia has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine and research. Giorgio started their career as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from 2009 to 2012. Giorgio then joined Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) as a Nuclear Medicine Physician in 2013 and later became the Head of Research & Innovation Service AFRI in 2017. In 2018, they took on the role of Associate Physician at CHUV / Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois and became a Private Docent (Adjunct Professor) at University of Lausanne. Giorgio also served as an Associate collaborator of Cochrane Switzerland and a Committee Member of EANM. In 2020, they became a Titular Professor at USI Università della Svizzera italiana, and in 2021, they took on the role of Specialty Chief Editor for Frontiers in Medicine. Additionally, they have been a Faculty Member of ESMIT and a Docent at the School for Radiology Technicians - SSMT.
Giorgio Treglia has a Master's degree in Health Management from Università degli Studi Niccolò Cusano, which was obtained in 2022. In 2011, they completed a Master's degree in Health Technology Assessment & Management (HTA&M) from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Nuclear Medicine, also at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Giorgio's educational journey began in 1997 when they obtained a degree in Medicine (MD) from the same university.
