Veronica Smith has extensive experience in the field of education and counseling, having worked as a Middle School Counselor at Canton Public School District since July 2017, where responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling and participating in parent/teacher meetings to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Prior experience spans from July 2008 to June 2017 as a School Counselor in South Delta School District, alongside earlier work as a Teacher, during which Veronica developed lesson plans, assessed student progress, and implemented remedial programs. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Grambling State University and a Master of Education in Secondary Education-School Counseling from Alcorn State University.
