Adrian Purdy has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on geophysics. Adrian currently serves as the Chief Development and Exploration Manager at Cantium since June 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at BHP Billiton, including Regional Manager for Caribbean Exploration, Geoscience Manager for Geological Business Support, Regional Exploration Manager in the Gulf of Mexico, Exploration Manager for the Eastern Gulf of Mexico, and Senior Geophysicist for Sabah / Brunei. Before joining BHP Billiton, Adrian worked at Woodside Energy as a Senior Geophysicist in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Adrian began their career at ExxonMobil as a Geophysicist and later became a Senior Geophysicist.
Adrian Purdy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from the University of Melbourne between 1993 and 1996. Adrian then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Geophysics from the National Centre of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from 1996 to 1997. In 2017, Adrian Purdy attended Rice University and completed the Advanced Business Development Program. The field of study for this program is not specified.
