Sarah Beck FRCPath is a highly experienced clinical scientist specializing in immunopathology, currently serving as an Immunopathology Clinical Scientist at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah held the position of Section Head Immunology at Canterbury Health Laboratories, overseeing the operational management of immunology services. A significant tenure at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust included leadership of a large diagnostic immunology laboratory, where key responsibilities encompassed quality management and assay introduction. Sarah has also led regional roles in COVID-19 serology during the pandemic and contributed to the development of immunology services across multiple NHS trusts. Holding an MSc in Medical Immunology from King's College London and a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Southampton, Sarah is recognized for extensive expertise in autoimmunity, allergy diagnostics, and cellular immunophenotyping.
