Sarah Harmer is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Director of Fundraising at Canterbury Cathedral since December 2024. Prior to this role, Sarah held the position of Director of Development at The Wallace Collection from May 2014 to November 2024. Sarah also worked at Selwyn College, University of Cambridge as Development Director & Fellow from January 2011 to April 2014, and previously served as Deputy Development Director in the Clare College Development Office from 2006 to 2011. Sarah Harmer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College in 2006 and completed secondary education at Episcopal High School in 2002.
