Teresa Goughan has a long and varied work experience. Teresa began their career in 1985 at Frito Lay as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed their first extranet system, designed EDI transactions, and was the Baseline Project Lead for the Sales Reporting System. In 2000, they joined SynQuest as a Presales Consultant and Support, providing Sales/Pre-sales support for Integration and SCEM software and developing and designing integrated SCEM solutions. In 2002, they became a Consultant at PepsiCo and was the Project Lead for Frito-Lay's Planogram Automation. In 2008, they joined JCPenney as a Senior Engineer, where they provided support for JDA Space Planning applications and Visual Retailing and was the Technical Integration Lead for the Item Master and Oracle RPAS implementation. Finally, in 2014, they joined Cantactix Solutions Inc. as a Technical Consultant.

Teresa Goughan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University between 1978 and 1982. Teresa also holds two certifications from Blue Yonder, the BY Category Management Technical Accreditation (obtained in June 2020) and the BY Category Management Functional Accreditation (obtained in May 2020).
