Stephen Scheier is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Underwriting US Management & Professional Lines at Canopius Group since February 2021. Prior to joining Canopius Group, Stephen held the position of VP Management Liability- Mid Atlantic Region at Argo Group U.S. from June 2011 to February 2021. With extensive experience in the insurance industry, Stephen served as Regional Director at Hanover Insurance Company from September 2009 to April 2011 and as Regional Underwriting Officer at Zurich North America from February 1996 to September 2009. Stephen holds a B.S. in Business from Spring Garden College.
