Ryan Williams, CPCU, ARe, is a Program Underwriter at Canopius Group since March 2023 and a Board Member of YRP - Young Risk Professionals of Georgia since January 2022. Prior experience includes underwriting for cannabis risks at SafeHerb from April 2021 to March 2023, and serving as a Misc Med Underwriter with Beazley from June 2019 to March 2021. Ryan participated in a Career Development Program aimed at transitioning students into professional underwriting roles. Earlier career stages include a Student Assistant position at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business and an internship at Avant Insurance, where program launch support was provided. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management and Insurance with a certificate in Legal Studies from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, graduating in 2019.
