Daisuke Yamada is a Principal Systems Engineer at Canon USA since January 2012, leading system architecture developments for robotic navigation in flexible bronchoscopy. Previously, Yamada served as the Principal Research and Development Engineer, overseeing product development teams for catheter-based optical coherence tomography and fluorescence imaging systems. Daisuke Yamada's experience includes extensive work in medical imaging systems, managing design controls, compliance with safety standards, and coordinating engineering teams. An early career role as an Optical Researcher at Canon Inc. laid the foundation for Daisuke Yamada's expertise, complemented by a background as a Visiting Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Electronic Science and Engineering from Kyoto University.
