Rafael Felipe Peña, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Director of Operations at Cano Health since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Sr Business Operations Manager-Pharmacy at WellMed Medical Management from March 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining WellMed, Rafael worked as a Market Operations Manager-Specialty at Baptist Health System from September 2015 to September 2017. Rafael Felipe also held the role of Business Manager of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine from April 2014 to September 2015.

Rafael's career began in the United States Air Force, where they had several roles. Rafael Felipe served as a Project and Process Manager from July 2013 to January 2014. Earlier, they were a Business Operations Manager from July 2008 to July 2012. Prior to that, they held the positions of Logistics, Facility, and Budget Manager from February 2005 to January 2008 and Education and Training Manager from February 2002 to February 2005.

With a comprehensive background in operations management and various leadership roles across different industries, Rafael Felipe Peña brings valuable expertise to their current position as Regional Director of Operations at Cano Health.

Rafael Felipe Peña obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a minor in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they furthered their education at the same institution and completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they obtained a Certification in Professional Management from the Community College of the Air Force in 2012.
