Moe Paknahad is an accomplished technology development professional currently serving as the VP of Technology Development at Cannabix Technologies Inc since February 2020. With a strong background in product development and research, Moe previously held the position of Product Development Specialist at CellScale Biomaterials Testing and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. Experience also includes serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at TandemLaunch Inc., where responsibilities encompassed technology scouting and venture creation. Moe's notable academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on microfluidics from The University of British Columbia, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from K. N. Toosi University of Technology and Razi University, respectively. Throughout an extensive career, Moe has demonstrated expertise in microfluidic systems, gas detection technologies, project supervision, and academic contributions including publications and grant proposals.
