Aymen Haroon has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. They began their professional journey as an Observer at Aga Khan University Hospital in 2017, where they gained exposure to DNA isolation, polymerase chain reaction assay, gel electrophoresis, media preparation, bacterial culture plate processing, tissue embedding, and staining. In 2018, Aymen served as a Research Assistant at The Indus Hospital, contributing to a study on blood donor retention. Their responsibilities included literature reviews, survey structure input, and hypothesis development. From 2017 to 2019, Aymen worked as a Resident Assistant at Purdue University, providing guidance and support to undergraduate freshmen while maintaining their academic standing. As a Graduate Student at Boston University starting in 2020, Aymen pursued their Master's in Public Health. During this time, they balanced their studies and work. Most recently, Aymen joined Canid in 2021 as an Operations Intern, where they learned from forward-thinking leaders and embraced the challenges of working in an early-stage startup. Currently, Aymen serves as a Business Associate at Canid, collaborating with the operations and product team to enhance the customer experience and supporting clients through onboarding and ongoing operations.
