Alexandru Buliga is an experienced software engineer with a wide range of experience. Alexandru began their career in 2013 at ADVAHOO as an Enterprise Software Developer, where they worked on Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Database 11g, JDeveloper, and Oracle SQL Developer. In 2014, they interned at VMware as an MTS (Member of Technical Staff) Intern, where they developed a tool to automate an entire set of processes. In 2015, they worked at CERN as a Summer Student Intern, where they extended functionality and improved overall performance using conversion from static to dynamic web pages, on-demand data processing, multiprocessing, caching, and data storage optimizations. Alexandru also worked at Microchip Technology as a Bachelor Thesis Collaborator, where they developed an application to assist Microchip PIC18 programmers. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer 2 and Software Engineer. Finally, they are currently working at Glovo as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead, and at Canditech as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect.

Alexandru Buliga obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended the “B.P.Hasdeu” High School in Buzau from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Baccalauréat in Mathematics and Informatics. In 2010, they obtained the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) from the University of Cambridge, and in 2009 they obtained the Pearson LCCI Certificate in English for Business from Pearson.
