Shewly Choudhury is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in interdisciplinary programs and grant management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Interdisciplinary Programmes & Capability at the Natural Environment Research Council since July 2021, Choudhury previously held the position of Head of UK Grants at The Royal Society from January 2016 to June 2021. At the Wellcome Trust, Choudhury progressed through various roles, including Deputy Head of Basic Careers and Science Programme Manager, Basic Careers Portfolio Adviser, Science Portfolio Adviser, and Science Programme Officer from October 2005 to December 2015. Choudhury holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester.
