Sharon Slade has a strong background in marketing and strategic initiatives. SHARON has held positions such as Chief Marketing Officer at Cancer Research Institute (CRI), where they oversaw marketing operations and strategic planning. In this role, they led multi-channel marketing campaigns, developed communications and messaging campaigns, and worked closely with the CEO to evolve the board.
Prior to their role at CRI, Sharon was the Chief Marketing Officer at The Bleachers Corporation, where they oversaw the Creative Services team and agency relationships. SHARON was responsible for leading marketing, branding, communications, and product management.
Sharon also worked as an Independent Consultant, partnering with C-Suite clients and subcontracting with Business Talent Group. During this time, they designed and deployed multi-channel outreach and customer experience strategies, as well as brand, product management, marketing, and PR solutions.
Earlier in their career, Sharon held positions such as Vice President (Global) - Marketing & Strategy at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they directed the global brand strategy for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, and Vice President (US), Marketing & Service Training - Fashion at CHANEL, where they revitalized the brand through marketing, service excellence, and training initiatives.
Sharon Slade has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. SHARON also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Colgate University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in "Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work" from LinkedIn in January 2021.
