Francesca Rivers is a Senior Solicitor at Cancer Research Horizons, a position held since July 2019, following an Associate role in Intellectual Property at Bird & Bird from September 2015 to July 2019. Prior experience includes a Trainee position across various legal fields at Bird & Bird, and a Legal Assistant role at Laura Devine Solicitors. Francesca also completed a summer vacation scheme internship at Pinsent Masons in June 2013. Earlier in their career, Francesca worked at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as Deputy News Editor and held various editorial roles, and served as an Account Manager at Medaxial. Francesca holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Oxford, a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Kaplan Law School, alongside an MBioch in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
