Jocelyn Sinclair's work experience begins in 2014 as an Undergraduate Student Research Assistant at McMaster University, where they conducted air-sensitive inorganic synthesis and characterization of self-assembled macromolecules. In 2016, they continued their undergraduate research as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University, focusing on the characterization of chemical environments in tin borophosphate glasses. Jocelyn also presented their work at conferences and research events during this time. In 2016, Jocelyn joined the University of Alberta as a Lab Teaching Assistant and held this role until 2019. During this time, they also served as Co-Chair for UAlberta Working for Inclusivity in Chemistry. In 2019, they became the Lead Chemistry Teaching Assistant at the Engineering Student Success Centre at the University of Alberta. Currently, Jocelyn works as a Journal Development Specialist at Canadian Science Publishing.
Jocelyn Sinclair pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Dalhousie University from the year 2012 to 2016. Jocelyn then continued their education at the University of Alberta, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from 2016 to 2022.
