Joseph Brekelmans, CFA, serves as Vice President of Technology for the Investment Division at Canada Life since April 2019 and has held a similar position at Great-West Life since March 2004, where responsibilities include leading technology delivery and providing strategic consulting to senior management. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Core Business Information Systems at Ceridian Canada Ltd. and various managerial positions across other organizations, focusing on IT solutions, system development, and educational instruction in systems analysis and database management. Joseph holds an MBA in Finance, an MSc in Computer Science, and a BCSc (Hons) in Computer Science, all from the University of Manitoba.
