Ketan Patel has extensive work experience in various roles within the oil and gas industry. Ketan started their career at Gujarat Petro-Synthesys Ltd in 1996 as a Panel Operator/Sr.Operator, where they were responsible for safe DCS Operations of Liquefied Natural Gas plant facilities. Ketan then worked at Cairn Energy India Pvt. Ltd as a Prosess Operator, performing tasks such as inspecting and operating process equipment, troubleshooting equipment problems, and performing minor repairs. Ketan also worked at Hyundai Consortium Co & ENI BV in Iran as a Control Room Operator and at Sohar Refinery LLC in Oman as a Control Room Operator in Area 400. Ketan later joined Shell-PDO in Oman as a Lead Control Room Operator before moving to Shell Energy North America (Canada) Inc., where they held roles such as Sr. Control Room Operator and Plant Production Team Lead. Currently, Ketan is working at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as the Lead Froth Operation and also as a Shift Team Lead.

Ketan Patel earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (B.Sc) from Gujarat University. Ketan studied at Gujarat University from 1992 to 1995.
