Jesse McClyment, P. Tech.(Eng.), has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. Starting in 2011 at AltaGas, they worked as a Gas Plant Operator until 2012. In 2012, Jesse moved to Cenovus Energy and took on the role of Regulatory Assurance Specialist, ensuring compliance with government regulations and managing various programs. They also worked as a Plant Operator, monitoring and optimizing SAGD production operations. In 2019, Jesse joined Devon Energy as a Production Operator for a short period before transitioning to Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). At CNRL, they first worked as a Production Operator and then advanced to the position of Operations Shift Team Lead in 2022.

Jesse McClyment, P. Tech.(Eng.), has a degree in Power Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Jesse also holds a Professional Technologist certification from ASET | The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. Additionally, Jesse has obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) and is a Second Class Engineer certified by ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority.
